Kathryn Murray Dickinson doesn’t have a makeup bag—she has a makeup satchel. But the beauty expert, who owns two Aillea locations in Denver and one in Atlanta, keeps her daily routine simple and natural. “I start with a hydrating oil, then put on foundation, highlighter, bronzer and lipstick,” she says. “I finish with my brows and mascara. If I’m going out at night, I add eyeliner.” The key: great-for-your-skin products. Here, Dickinson unpacks her go-to picks with us.

“I’m blonde, so mascara is the one thing I will never go without because my eyes will disappear if I don’t have it on. I always have a Lily Lolo Mascara in my bag. It’s one of the most popular items in the store. It never runs, it never raccoons, it never flakes and it gives you great lashes.” $20

Kjaer Weis’s Cream Foundation, which (the company founder) built for her sister who has rosacea, has magical full coverage and beautiful texture, so you don’t look like you’re wearing makeup.” 12 shades, $68

“I use Kosas Lipsticks daily. In the winter, I go for a more berry shade; I tend to wear nudes in the summer.” Eight shades, $28

“The Maya Chia Illuminating Serum Highlighter has a nice golden glow that you only need a little bit of. You can wear it under blush or alone.” $42

“One of the staples I really love is Olio E Osso Balms. We recently brought the products into Aillea. They have the perfect tint of color and are super hydrating so they’re great for the winter.” $28

ALL PRODUCTS AVAILABLE AT: Aillea, Cherry Creek Shopping Center and 1408 Larimer St.

THE PERFECT SMOKY EYE “Rather than doing the liner directly on my lids, I put product on the back of my hand, dip a brush into it and put it on. It gives a softer look. I’ll even take a smudger brush and smudge it out more if I want to. Vincent Longo, who worked with all of the supermodels back in the ’90s, taught me that trick.”
