I was born to be a stylist. From an early age, you could find me doing my friends’ hair. I have a passion for the beauty industry, and I see hairstylists as the perfect balance between an artist and a healer. I love nature and spending time with my family and the Innersense community.

What was your inspiration when initially launching the Innersense brand?

I wanted Innersense to be a community and resource for stylists and clean beauty enthusiasts to gather, gain and share knowledge.

Can you share any pro tips for how to use Innersense products?
.
Innersense products are so concentrated, and we have removed all synthetic fillers. Therefore, you need to awaken all products by warming them up between your hands to awaken the ingredients before applying them. For the same reason, all products should be used with lots of water.

What is your personal favorite Innersense product?

My all-time favorite product is Harmonic Treatment Oil. I love the versatility of the product, and I think Tamanu Oil is a magically healing ingredient.
Can you please share with the AILLEA audience a little background about yourself, both personally and professionally?

As a kid, I grew up around beauty. My mother was a celebrity makeup artist who had her own Spa and a line of products. I used to hand fill and label bottles for her and swept hair in the salon. It was from that experience that I developed a love for beauty. As a young adult, it was only natural for me to pursue a career in beauty. Working as a salon stylist for over 10 years in top salons in Beverly Hills led me to expand my career into big beauty. It was all those experiences that led me to create Innersense Organic Beauty.

What are some of the hero ingredients featured in the Innersense line?

I love all our ingredients. Special ones include Tamanu and Manoi Oils which are rich in antioxidants and emollient for the Scalp, Skin and Hair.

Why was it important to you to create a clean, non-toxic, conscious haircare brand?

Organic Chemistry is a passion turned into an obsession. Eliminating toxic ingredients is paramount to the ingredient choices we make. We solely rely on pure ingredients that deliver the efficacies and performance one expects from their Haircare. This is what sets our products apart.

I am the Director of Joy here at Innersense Organic Beauty. I am 25 years old, and I was born with Williams Syndrome, a rare genetic order that hinders and helps me all at the same time. I love all things Disney and love to spend time with my family and my two dogs, Cali and Bear. I love to travel and visit places I have never been to.

Innersense is about getting in touch with that small voice inside you that gives you helpful guidance when you ask.

What is your personal favorite Innersense product?

My favorite Innersense product is Quiet Calm Curl Control. I love the fresh orange blossom, and it leaves my curls hydrated and soft.
Can you please share with the AILLEA audience a little background about yourself, both personally and professionally?

Hi, I’m Max Starkman, the 25-year-old son of Greg and Joanne, who loves to make everyone smile. I am described as very easygoing and am always having a great time. I love to golf with my dad and go out with my friends on the weekend. I have worked for Innersense Organic Beauty officially for about two and a half years. I started in our warehouse packing boxes and working on operation improvements, then moved into our Customer Care team. After about a year of working with our customers, I moved into our Finance team as a Financial Operations Analyst, where I work hand in hand with all of our departments to bring improvements and fluidity to our operations.

Are there any new products that Innersense will be launching soon? Can you share any details?

Within the next few months, we are going to be adding two more combos to our line of Hairbaths and Conditioners The first will be perfect for anyone who loves to keep their blonde bright, and the second is going to be perfect for our friends who may have sensitive skin.

What is your personal favorite Innersense product?
.
I go back and forth between styling products quite frequently, depending on the length of my hair and how I am looking to style it. But the product that I will always have in my cabinet is Harmonic Treatment Oil. It is my aftershave, lotion and my answer to almost everything skin related. I will never travel without it.
