Let's talk about women’s hair loss. My whole life, my hair has been shiny and full and easy. I had fine hair, but so much of it.
Then last spring that all started to change. I noticed my hair falling out by the handful in the shower. My usually strong and elastic hair was getting dry and in addition to shedding, was also breaking off in 6 inch pieces. And the hardest indignity, I felt like my hairline was receding. Thank you peri-menopause. (And for those asking, yes, I had Covid, but a full 1 1/2 years before this started happening, so I do not believe it was a contributing factor).
In June 2021 I decided that I was NOT going to take this lying down and decided to throw the kitchen sink at fixing my hair. I gave myself a big chop, started taking Agent Nateur Holi (mane), really paid attention to my hair care (including brushes and towels) In September, 3 Months in to the protocol and I started to see sprouts of regrowth. I was like Alfalfa from the Little Rascals with these little tufts of hair popping up everywhere
.
In December, when I was drying my hair, I was floored, it looked like I had cut bangs there was so much hair growing. And it has just continued to recover and regrow.
Consistency is key! It took about 90 days to actually see any growth. Now a full year later, I can see a dramatic difference. It will take probably another year for it to fully grow in, but I didn't want to wait that long for the "after" photo to share this with all of you :)
4. The Wet Brush: This brush is so great I have two. The first one I keep in my shower and use it to brush through the conditioner or hydrating hair mask. This is a GAME CHANGER when it comes to dispersing product across your whole head of hair as well as getting out of the shower with untangled hair. The second one I keep to use on clean wet/dry hair when I am drying it.
5. Hair Wraps: I question whether these are really organic, but they are so so soft. I feel like this is just treats my hair with the extra care by not aggressively tying it up in a heavy towel.
