Living in the Rocky Mountains in the high altitude takes a toll on your skin. It is stunningly beautiful but oh so dry. I laugh when "Beauty Influencers" write about masking on airline flights. With the severe lack of humidity, we pretty much LIVE on the plane as far as our skin is concerned.
I have sampled many many many body lotions, skin oils, and body butters. Lotions-forget about it, I would need to slather oil or butter over it, so what is the use?
Body Oil-They really do not give me the relief that I need. Put on immediately after showering, they say. "They" do not live where I live. It feels ok for about 30 minutes and then the dry itch begins.
Body Butters are where it is AT. They offer me the only true relief. The Organic Bath Co offers a truly great butter. The scents are not overwhelming and they are a great value. I particularly love the collaboration they did with Aillea, "Citrus Lemongrass". Light, clean, and fresh. And SO moisturizing.
And for those that are afflicted with the severe dryness, as I am, try some Hyaluronic Acid right out of the shower or bath and then use the Body Butter.
HEAVEN.
