Such a pretty subtle pop of pink. The shimmery color is perfect for highlighting. I love that both are buildable and I can use them both as eyeshadow.
First off, the colors are actually more of a mauve/plum tone than pink.
Once applied, the darker shade looks rather purple and the shimmer only accentuates the grey tones.
Additionally, this blush requires you to apply quite a lot to get any color to show up on the skin.
Aside from the color, the blush looks grainy. It sits on top of your skin, no matter how much you blend, and the powder is quite noticeable.
The shimmer leaves more of a sweaty, greasy type shimmer.
The flecks of shimmer are visible no matter what and just look like you he got dirt or something stuck on your face.
Literally, the first time I wore this blush my boyfriend asked what happened to my face because he thought I had bruised my cheek.
Not what I was going for.
Perhaps it would work better for a different complexion than mine.
